It all started with a muffin....

I used to bake cookies....and I mean ONLY cookies. It was fun, but I never thought of trying anything new. I don't know why, but I only bake when Cheryl's around, or when there's a special occasion that motivates me to bake. But well, the passion gotta start somewhere yea? And it did....

It all started with a potbless party......



Chocolate Chip Muffins with a touch of almond and sprinkles of powdered sugar~

Hmmm....life has finally gotten a tad more interesting for me...

It went on to more ambitious baking, like a cake maybe? Never tried baking a whole cake before, I have doubts...but.....



A VERY SINFUL Chocolate Cake with Coffee Walnut Glaze

Seriously, it tasted better than it looks~~

Of course, I had several setbacks, but that didn't stop me to wanting to try out new things~ The baking frenzy doesn't seemed to stop....

Yes...they are Cinnomon Buns!!!


I made a few modifications though, instead of white fondant glaze, I used Coffee butter fondant glaze instead, with Pecans in the buns as well...

This gives the buns a aromatic coffee flavor with a more creamy glaze~


A little something for Grandma's breakfast table~

Enjoying every single step of making delicious cakes and pastries, the couple of set backs are the piles of utensils and dishes...
